Key Responsibilities

•Set the agenda and direction for the Operations function across onshore and offshore delivery
•Drive automation, standardization and offshoring to realize savings and efficiencies while maintaining service quality
•Lead risk management, governance, and control initiatives in Global Operations and across Japan to support regulatory compliance and performance
•Collaborate with CIB businesses and other stakeholders to deliver cost, service quality and SLA objectives
•Develop and lead a high-performing team of Operations leaders and ensure effective talent development and succession planning

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated leadership of large, multi-disciplinary operations teams and senior stakeholders
•Experience in governance, risk management and control frameworks within a global operations context
•Track record delivering cost savings through automation, standardization and offshoring of delivery processes
•Ability to align onshore operations with offshore resourcing and drive process improvements across global delivery
•Japanese language skills are preferred for leading across Japan operations and engaging with local industry forums
