Key Responsibilities

  • •Create comprehensive test plans and test cases for new data transformations and ingestion processes.
  • •Execute advanced data validation by reconciling warehouse sources and cube outputs against business/vendor expectations.
  • •Write complex SQL and Python (and DAX) validation scripts to compare data, including completeness, totals, null percentages, and key-field checks.
  • •Lead testing for new transformations/migrations across Snowflake and Databricks and assess downstream cube/report impact.
  • •Perform root cause analysis for data quality incidents, document findings, and partner with development teams on remediation; contribute to automated test frameworks and mentor QA engineers.
