Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and verify that vehicle detailing/reconditioning matches customer specifications and contract standards, including visual checks by touch when needed.
  • •Check wash bay steps, interior cleaning steps, buffing steps, and final touch-up to appropriate standards.
  • •Track all vehicles entering and exiting the detail lanes using detail sheets.
  • •Reject vehicles that don’t meet standards and generate reports for rework, then re-inspect problem vehicles.
  • •Keep wash bays and work areas clean and ensure employees have proper equipment and training; perform other assigned duties including occasional vehicle staging and sale-day driving.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • •Pass background and prison background checks and a drug test.
  • •2–4 years of experience in a detail shop, reconditioning work, or as a quality controller inspector (highly preferred).
  • •Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record; able to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • •Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to meet physical requirements (standing, bending, lifting up to 20 pounds).
