Job Summary

Field Engineer to implement and support complex communication system infrastructure across multiple states, troubleshooting RF, IP networks, servers, and network hardware. You'll work with Systems Engineering, Project Management, and Sales to design, test, and document advanced wireless systems, perform on-site and remote configurations, and verify performance. Travel 50-75% within OH/WI/MI/MN/SD/ND; remote-based with relocation to OH as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Team with Systems Engineering, Project Management, and Sales personnel to effectively design, implement, optimize, test, cutover, and document advanced communication systems that meet or exceed customer expectations
•Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments
•Oversee onsite installation of network, server, and RF equipment using design drawings and product documentation; provide as-built information for final system documentation
•Perform onsite and remote configuration of network, server, RF, and databases; provide as-configured documentation and baseline reports
•Troubleshoot networks, servers, databases, and RF infrastructure using system logs and monitoring tools; verify fault-free status

Travel: High travel

Salary: USD 60,000 - 80,000 annually

•Associate's Degree in a technical or engineering discipline and 4+ years of technical or engineering experience
•OR 6+ years of technical or engineering experience

•Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN IP networks; proficient in installation, configuration, and maintenance of network, server, and RF systems
•Ability to travel 50-75% and reside in or relocate to Ohio
