Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor and develop a team delivering EC&I design within the department, including producing design documentation and substantiation and approving work of other engineers and designers.
  • •Deliver project deliverables within timescales and budgets, with minimal supervision, and provide guidance to entry level engineers.
  • •Independently perform primary design elements for engineering works and identify discrepancies in results.
  • •Gathers and correlates engineering data using established procedures and supports multi-disciplinary bid teams.
  • •Liaise with clients, suppliers and contractors, and contribute to recruitment activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to a minimum of HNC level and preferably have a good relevant engineering degree
  • •Chartered Engineering or Incorporated Engineer or on your way to be
  • •Extensive relevant experience and be able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge and leadership experience
  • •Functional Design Specification, Basis of Design & User Requirement Specification production
  • •Document and Drawing checking and approval
