Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the AI technical agenda across pursuits, acting as the senior technical voice from engagement through deal closure.
  • •Conduct technical discovery and alignment across Finance/GRC/Sustainability and IT/Security to map customer AI programs and fit the governed core.
  • •Prepare tailored technical demonstrations and produce customer AI reference architectures showing how the API-first platform integrates for production-ready outputs.
  • •Share field insights with product, engineering, and leadership to influence the AI roadmap.
  • •Represent Workiva with customers and partners through industry events, thought leadership, and executive briefings.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of technical, customer-facing experience in presales solution consulting, solution architecture, or technical consulting, including at least 3 years focused on enterprise AI architecture.
  • •Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
  • •Hands-on expertise in modern AI (RAG, agentic systems, MCP, and model selection/evaluation) and enterprise data architecture.
  • •Ability to write clean code for API interaction and perform technical testing for groundedness and quality.
  • •Understanding of AI governance and security risks, including establishing audit-readiness for machine-generated outputs in regulated environments.
