Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at assigned military installations.
  • •Deliver one-on-one counseling, consultation with leadership or providers, and conduct briefings/presentations or provide referral resources.
  • •Coordinate and provide personal financial management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle, and respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
  • •Work closely with installation and military branch points of contact to ensure the program stays within scope and meets installation needs.
  • •Manage duty to warn situations per DoD protocol, communicate trends/issues through supervision, and participate in in-services/training and other contract activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider associate degree plus 4 years’ experience or high school diploma plus 6 years’ experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •U.S. citizen and able to speak fluent English.
  • •Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
  • •Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process.
