Job Summary

Monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration and other utility systems at a Tyson Foods facility, including steam-generating equipment, compressed air, water distribution, and return condensate systems. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance using proper tools and test equipment, complete required documentation and SAP functions, and ensure compliance with Tyson safety and food safety standards (GMP, SQF). 1st shift role in Vineland, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor, control, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration equipment and building utility components.
•Perform preventative maintenance and minor/major repairs on utilities machinery and mechanical equipment.
•Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation and making repairs.
•Assist in utilities maintenance as directed (including HVAC and wastewater).
•Complete documentation (log entries, leak reports) and carry out required SAP functions while complying with Tyson safety and food safety requirements (GMP, SQF).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 26.87 - 38.1 hourly

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years of experience, or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
•NJ Black Seal Boiler License High Pressure or higher.
•Willingness to work in cold environments (-20 to 110°F) with required PPE and gear.
•Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive motions; able to stand/stoop/walk/bend up to 12 hours and climb stairs several times per hour.
•Electro-mechanical experience (preferred); PSM experience (preferred).
