Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements (and future Environmental Outcomes Reports), including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Support project delivery across early strategy, feasibility, optioneering/option selection, outline and detailed design, discharging conditions, and construction through operations/maintenance.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards and comply with quality management procedures.
  • •Use project management skills to manage resources and budgets (with support as applicable).
  • •Work within integrated design teams to identify environmental constraints, develop impact avoidance/mitigation solutions, and promote business development opportunities with clients and internal supply teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated interest and experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of EIA and environmental assessment methods, including planning legislation and relevant consenting/licensing regimes.
  • •Experience delivering consultancy services with strong project management skills (programming, resourcing, and budget management).
  • •Confident stakeholder engagement with excellent verbal, report writing, and technical review skills.
  • •A relevant environmental degree, preferably at Masters level, with appropriate professional membership; Chartered Environmentalist and mentoring/line management interest are advantageous.
