Job Summary

Lead hands-on installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and low voltage ICT systems in mission-critical data center and enterprise environments. Serve as onsite subject matter expert for TIA/BICSI and life-safety standards, perform copper/fiber termination and advanced testing, and coordinate work with teams. Provide customer-facing technical support, maintain detailed documentation and project execution, and mentor Technicians I & II while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead advanced structured cabling and ICT infrastructure work, including installation, service, upgrades, and decommissioning.
•Perform fiber fusion splicing, copper/fiber termination, testing, documentation, and advanced troubleshooting.
•Install and remove infrastructure components such as racks, cable trays, cabinets, pathways, and network devices; support servers and network hardware.
•Apply and uphold TIA/BICSI standards, building codes, and life safety requirements; support emergency service requests and SLA compliance.
•Act as first level field leadership: mentor Technicians I & II, coordinate workflows to keep projects on schedule, and set quality and safety expectations.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree or technical certification (or equivalent work experience).
•5+ years installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling systems.
•Proven ability to install, terminate, test, and certify copper and fiber systems.
•Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, TIA, EIA, and BICSI standards; ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; BICSI Technician Certification highly desired.
