Key Responsibilities

  • •Own continuity of supply and improve Starlink IC custom silicon and packaging metrics (quality, cost, delivery, and capacity).
  • •Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, reliability, materials, and commercial supply chain to understand part and sub-system design intent.
  • •Review and approve package substrate fabrication technology, assembly processes, and quality control plans; set supplier technical and quality requirements.
  • •Identify, audit, onboard suppliers, and lead resolution of supplier quality issues using root cause analysis as the liaison across teams.
  • •Implement and monitor supplier production part approval (PPAP) and drive reliability/qualification and supplier improvement plans using quality and delivery analytics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • •2+ years of experience with electronic packaged part manufacturing (e.g., IC NPI, silicon fabrication, wafer level packaging, IC packaging, package substrates), preferably for high-speed/RF applications.
  • •3+ years of experience in supply chain engineering, supplier development/quality, process engineering, manufacturing, or design engineering.
  • •Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet critical deadlines.
  • •Ability to travel up to 60% of the work week, plus valid driver’s license.
