Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and grow a team of 6–8 engineers, including hiring and performance and career growth.
  • •Set the roadmap with product partners to enable customers to build reports and close their books without help.
  • •Own financial correctness by building systems to catch silent errors such as parity harnesses, tie-out checks, drift monitoring, and correctness SLOs.
  • •Lead multi-quarter migrations (ledger report migration and OLAP golden views) incrementally with parity checks to avoid disrupting month-end.
  • •Coordinate cross-team execution so upstream changes don’t break downstream numbers and support CFO/controller stakeholders during close.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years managing software engineers, including senior and staff-level ICs, with experience growing engineers into leads and staff engineers.
  • •Experience shipping financial, reporting, or data-intensive systems in production where numbers must tie correctly.
  • •Backend and data fluency to review query plans, push back on ledger design, and debug parity failures.
  • •Ability to set direction for a product surface over a 12-month horizon.
