Job Summary

Support the HSE Manager/Project HSE Manager in implementing the HSE management system on site. Assist with planning, implementation, evaluation, and analysis of HSE activities to ensure targets and objectives are met. Help ensure compliance with the Project Health and Safety Management Plan and HSE management programme, conduct and participate in safety training and meetings, identify hazards and record corrective actions, and support incident reporting and resolution in line with company and IMS policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in implementation and compliance to the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and Project HSE Management Programme.
•Arrange, conduct, and participate in training sessions, HSE Committee, and coordination meetings.
•Advise supervisory staff on accident prevention and improvements to work methods.
•Assist in leading and supervising HSE officers onsite and monitor execution of HSE activities to meet project requirements.
•Identify hazards and unsafe practices daily, raise observation reports, record corrective measures, and support incident reporting and resolution aligned with company and IMS policies.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years working experience, including 3 years relevant experience, with 2 years GCC experience a plus.
•Knowledge of all relevant safety regulations, procedures, and instructions, including Qatar and international safety standards.
•Strong knowledge of integrated management system and environmental regulations (air, wastewater, hazardous waste) plus chemical material management and MSDS.
•Ability to identify hazards, unsafe conditions/practices daily, raise observation reports, record corrective measures, and address violations with recommendations.
•ERP knowledge with preferably SAP functional skills to be successful in the role.
