Key Responsibilities

  • •Work as an individual contributor in a global team on mechanical design for new product development, defining customer requirements, selecting concepts, and implementing designs into production for sensor solutions.
  • •Collaborate with internal and external teams on customer needs, concepts, and mechanical design.
  • •Generate technical reports, documentation, and progress reporting, and develop expertise in a selected product line.
  • •Develop proposals/growth ideas to improve the product line.
  • •Oversee, supervise, and review team member tasks to ensure execution quality and mentor junior colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience in mechanical design.
  • •B.E/ B. Tech/ M.E/ M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Hands-on experience with mechanical packaging design (sheet metal, machine component design, plastics, forming).
  • •Proficiency in 3D modeling and parametric detailing (family tables) with tools such as Pro/E 2001, Pro/intralink, and AutoCAD (added advantage).
  • •Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis, plus knowledge of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing approaches (DFMEA, QFD, six sigma tools).
