Job Summary

Act as a liaison between CHS and customers by providing market analysis, supply/demand reporting, and economic analysis for complex transactions. Develop and execute trading strategies that optimize volume and profit while controlling risk using commodities knowledge and profit/loss and futures hedging. Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth execution, manage sourcing options, and support customer service, budgeting, forecasting, and contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a liaison for complex transactions, providing market analysis, supply/demand reports, and economic analysis.
•Analyze and implement complex trading strategies to optimize opportunities while controlling risk and performing profit/loss analysis.
•Use knowledge of commodities and risk measurement, including futures hedging, to ensure accurate trading terms.
•Coordinate across buyers, finance, logistics, and regions to ensure smooth trade execution and best sourcing options.
•Oversee customer service and manage sales budget, forecasting, and sales presentations/contracts.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•4+ years of experience in supply chain and procurement and/or commodities.
•4+ years of experience in trading.
•In-depth understanding of commodity markets and trading.
