Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee procurement and logistics team operations, including purchasing production commodities, capital equipment, and MRO materials at least total cost of ownership.
  • •Ensure purchase orders are complete, accurately describe required goods/services, and include reviewed legal requirements and approvals.
  • •Manage logistics planning and on-time delivery performance across air, truck, rail, and sealift, including efficient use of sealift assets and scheduling deliveries.
  • •Develop and maintain supplier relationships and negotiate supply agreements and purchasing terms, pricing, warranties, and payment conditions.
  • •Provide leadership to Purchasing, Logistics, and Container Management groups, including setting objectives, evaluating performance annually, and supporting training plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related, plus 5+ years of relevant experience; or 12+ years in a similar role in lieu of degree.
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment.
  • •Strong Excel and Access skills.
  • •Experience in mining or heavy industry environment is preferred.
  • •APICS or ISM certifications are preferred.
