Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Produce estimate and cost planning deliverables, including final cost plans.
  • •Review cost estimates with design services teams and contractors; reconcile changes and validate contractor data.
  • •Coordinate cost information for cost discussions and prepare written feedback (including executive summaries) on contractor submissions.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract cost variances, change control, contingency management, and commitment tracking; deliver monthly cost reports and support final accounts negotiation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working toward accreditation is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management activities on medium to large-scale construction projects.
  • •Strong construction industry knowledge (procurement routes, value management, value engineering) and excellent communication/stakeholder management skills.
