Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop a highly available, scalable, and secure ClickHouse Cloud platform for regulated and mission-critical environments.
  • •Build deployment automation across cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and disconnected environments when needed.
  • •Deploy and manage ClickHouse Cloud on Kubernetes and containerized environments, ensuring high availability, replication, and backup.
  • •Implement secure authentication, encryption, and access control mechanisms, and support compliance across security frameworks such as NIST and FedRAMP.
  • •Troubleshoot and optimize database performance, storage architecture, and operational issues; automate deployments and lifecycle management using Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems in software development.
  • •Experience with ClickHouse or relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
  • •Strong Kubernetes tooling experience, including Helm and operators (plus Kustomize, Istio, and service mesh).
  • •Experience with secure, regulated, or restricted network environments, including airgapped architectures.
  • •Proficiency in Go or Python for automation and integration, with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, and/or CI/CD.
