Job Summary

Operate a front-end loader at the yard to load trucks and on-site production equipment, supporting daily plant activity. Follow safe work procedures, complete daily and weekly plant inspections, and maintain cleanliness of the plant and yard. Manage aggregate material loading and keep an accurate inventory while communicating production issues to the Supervisor and training backup operators as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a front-end loader in the yard to load trucks and production equipment on-site.
•Follow safe work procedures and act safely in the workplace.
•Complete daily and weekly plant inspections and maintain cleanliness of the plant and yard.
•Load aggregate materials into trucks, trailers, bays, and production equipment, and maintain accurate aggregate inventory.
•Communicate production-impacting issues to the Supervisor and train backup operators as needed.

Key Requirements

•Successfully complete a heavy equipment operator program from an accredited institution (asset).
•Experience operating a front end loader (John Deere 644K or similar is an asset).
•Complete high school diploma or GED.
•Hold a valid Class G driver’s license.
•Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
