Key Responsibilities

•Lead Mine Waste Africa group operations, ensuring delivery of tailings projects within scope, budget and schedule.
•Oversee governance, compliance and financial management of the Tailings team in Africa, including KPI development and reporting.
•Develop and maintain African/global client relationships, driving business development and project pursuits.
•Provide technical direction for tailings design studies and ensure high-quality deliverables across multi-disciplinary projects.
•Manage resources, talent development, and succession planning to build a high-performing, safety-conscious team.

Key Requirements

•Proven leadership experience in tailings/mine waste projects, ideally in a consulting environment
•15+ years of mine tailings design and management experience
•Strong client relationship management and business development capabilities
•Experience leading large teams (10+ direct reports) and managing project portfolios
•SHEQ training and governance experience in a mining/engineering context
