Key Responsibilities

  • •Support plant leadership in achieving business and financial goals by developing and maintaining manufacturing processes and leading continuous improvement/cost-out initiatives.
  • •Develop and maintain cost-efficient manufacturing processes and product structures aligned with lean manufacturing practices.
  • •Perform root-cause and failure analysis as required, and lead cost-out events while promoting a continuous improvement culture.
  • •Apply lean and Six Sigma methods to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and strengthen the team’s understanding of sources of variation.
  • •Coordinate manufacturing efforts across functions, participate in concurrent engineering/design reviews, and execute Design for Manufacturing and Value Engineering initiatives to support product development and shipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • •Solid understanding of engineering design and product reliability concepts for analysis across fluid/thermal/electronic domains.
  • •Detailed knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques such as value stream mapping and one-piece flow.
  • •Understanding of Six Sigma concepts and tools to minimize process/product variability, including regression analysis and design of experiments.
  • •Thorough problem-solving knowledge for root-cause analysis and corrective actions, including 8D and root cause analysis (e.g., PFMEA, Gage R&R, control charts, Pareto charts).
