Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform comprehensive reviews of IT processes to ensure appropriate IT SOX controls are in place and operating effectively
  • •Support ITGC and ITAC testing and documentation (walkthroughs, risk/control gap identification, test procedures, and workpapers)
  • •Analyze and/or design IT SOX controls to identify risks and control weaknesses, including assessing control gaps
  • •Develop and maintain SOX documentation (flow charts, process narratives, risk and control matrices, segregation of duties matrices)
  • •Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and auditors to support audits and ensure remediation plans are implemented

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • •2-3 years of experience as an IT SOX external and/or internal auditor with a public accounting firm or public company
  • •Thorough understanding of internal control concepts and frameworks (SOX and COSO) from a technology perspective
  • •Demonstrated proficiency of ITGC concepts and how they fit into the control landscape
  • •CIA or CISA (or similar) is highly desirable
