Key Responsibilities

  • •Process high volumes of vendor invoices using purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way match), and verify/reconcile discrepancies.
  • •Prepare and process weekly/biweekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers) and maintain vendor master files including W-9/1099 tracking.
  • •Ensure proper GL coding of invoices according to the company chart of accounts and reconcile the AP subledger to the general ledger monthly.
  • •Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals related to accounts payable.
  • •Maintain AP aging reports, optimize payment timing for cash flow, assist with 1099 preparation/filing, and support audit requests and internal controls improvements.
