Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee complex new construction, renovation, and electrical infrastructure projects, including review and approval of electrical infrastructure design plans for data integrity and compliance.
  • •Apply electrical engineering techniques across project phases (concept development, preliminary/final design, procurement, construction, and operation).
  • •Prepare and review electrical calculations (loads, equipment sizing, grounding touch/step potentials, short circuit study, overcurrent protective coordination, one-line diagrams, protective relaying).
  • •Lead MEP engineering project work including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, subcontractor supervision, and delivering required technical calculations and designs.
  • •Develop plans/specifications/cost estimates and coordinate electrical infrastructure layouts with owners, other disciplines, subcontractors, and clients; prepare technical reports and lead team QA/QC.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for large capital projects.
  • •Engineer in Training certification.
  • •Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and applying permitting and project requirements.
  • •Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and codes including NEC, ICC building codes, and IECC energy codes; proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
