Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently manage a caseload of simple to moderate Property & Casualty insurance defense cases through arbitration, trial, and possible appeal.
  • •Appear in court as required for arbitrations, trials, and mediations.
  • •Develop and implement legal strategy and ongoing budget projections for assigned cases in collaboration with Claims Litigation.
  • •Prepare legal pleadings, motions, memoranda, trial briefs, and other documents on assigned cases.
  • •Conduct direct settlement negotiations with plaintiffs' attorneys and provide legal advice to clients and P&C Claims team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
