Investigate incidents using console messages, logs, and network management tools, create and resolve tickets in ServiceNow, and escalate issues appropriately. Support production and test environments, assist with releases and hardware upgrades, and work with developers to enable DEV integration and UAT.

•Constantly monitor mainframe operations (MVS/LPAR activity) via console messages, logs, and network management tools and report abnormalities.
•Create, update, and resolve incidents in ServiceNow and apply corrective actions defined in operating procedures.
•Develop and review knowledge management documentation; support peer training under supervision.
•Assist with monthly/quarterly releases and mainframe hardware upgrades and maintenance; support production and test environments.
•Analyze network operations events and system errors, manipulate processing schedules, interpret policies/procedures, and perform JCL overrides when needed.

Key Requirements

•Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
•At least 2 years of experience in a data center operations environment and operating production systems and equipment.
•Working knowledge of mainframe operations such as JCL, HMC & System IPLs, TSO, MVS, and JES.
•Familiarity with automation/scheduling and tools including Ansible, Jenkins, CA7, IBM Mainframe, and ServiceNow.
•Ability to communicate technical problems clearly and analyze/solve operational issues in stressful situations.
