Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical vision, strategy, planning, and coordination for engineering projects in collaboration with Product and leadership.
  • •Manage team performance by ensuring processes are followed, estimates are reliable, and communication is proactive.
  • •Mentor and guide engineers using system design and coding expertise; lead from the front on engineering practices.
  • •Actively contribute code, fix bugs, and resolve issues to drive team progress and delivery.
  • •Support hiring and training, track performance metrics, and assist with ad-hoc engineering projects as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in system design, coding, and architecture with delivery of large systems in multiple languages.
  • •Deep understanding of an area of the business architecture, including its scaling and reliability limits.
  • •Ability to break down complex problems into solutions while identifying knowns/unknowns to reach resolution faster.
  • •Strong technical leadership: ownership, quality, proactiveness, continuous improvement, and open feedback culture.
  • •Experience identifying and resolving process inefficiencies to drive technical improvements.
