Job Summary

Provide on-site construction management inspection for multi-trade contracts to ensure work meets contract requirements. Make timely decisions to keep projects on schedule and within budget, while performing inspections, preparing construction reports, and supervising inspectors. Maintain detailed daily logs covering progress, contractor workforce, approvals, deliveries, and site issues. Resolve problems and conflicts through coordination and meetings, and monitor contractor safety operations in partnership with the Regional Safety Manager.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide construction management inspection for multi-trade contracts to ensure conformance with contract requirements.
•Make timely decisions to keep projects on schedule and within budgeted costs while meeting client needs.
•Perform inspections, prepare construction reports, expedite contract execution, and supervise inspectors.
•Maintain a written daily log of project progress, actions performed, contractor workforce, materials approvals and deliveries, and site issues.
•Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, conduct meetings, communicate with stakeholders, and monitor contractor safety operations with the Regional Safety Manager as needed.

Key Requirements

•Minimum BS in Construction Management/Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects, including supervision.
•Strong communications skills and a collaborative approach with clients and construction contractors/subcontractors.
•Strong interpersonal leadership skills.
•OSHA - 30.
