Key Responsibilities

  • •Enhance public awareness through risk communication and community engagement activities under the Pandemic Fund portfolio.
  • •Support development and adaptation of health security literacy guidelines with relevant ministries, partners, and regional networks.
  • •Facilitate multisector coordination by developing communication and visibility products and coordinating events such as launches and publications.
  • •Support the Ministry of Health to update all-hazard Risk Communication and Community Engagement Guidelines for public health emergencies.
  • •Deliver monthly consultancy reports, meeting call notes, and final technical reports covering all deliverables.

Salary: MYR 814 daily

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Public Health, Political Science, International Relations, or related field.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience in strategic communications, including developing risk/public health communication materials and supporting community engagement and stakeholder coordination.
  • •Experience in research, content development, and policy/guideline documentation.
  • •Proficiency with office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English and Malay.
