Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain backend services and APIs following established architectural patterns and standards.
  • •Implement business logic, data access layers, and integrations with internal and external systems.
  • •Develop and enhance RESTful APIs according to defined contracts and API standards.
  • •Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute unit/integration tests to reduce regressions.
  • •Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot backend issues using logs/diagnostics, and support Agile/Scrum sprint delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •3–6+ years of backend development experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs.
  • •Strong experience with Python or equivalent backend frameworks and REST API development (request/response and error handling).
  • •Experience with microservices-based architectures and integrating with internal/external systems via APIs or messaging.
  • •Hands-on cloud experience deploying or running services on GCP (or another hyperscaler), including managed databases like Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL.
  • •Comfort writing unit and integration tests and working with CI/CD and Git-based version control workflows.
