Key Responsibilities

•Lead civil work at substation and transmission line sites, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and schedules
•Create and supervise earthwork, grading, drainage systems, access roads, cable trenches and foundations for substations and transmission lines
•Review, interpret and produce civil design drawings and technical documents, resolving discrepancies
•Manage site surveys (geotechnical and ground/LIDAR) for route and layout determinations
•Coordinate with electrical, protection, commissioning, planning and project management to resolve interface and constructability issues

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
•Professional Engineering license (P.E.)
•Experience in site grading, drainage, roads, earthworks, and substation layout development
•Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation for civil design and detailing
•Understanding of substation site planning and integration with electrical layouts
