Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement combinational, sequential, and power-management circuits for Intel’s latest process technologies.
  • •Perform parasitic extraction and optimization to improve power, performance, robustness, and density.
  • •Develop automation flows for standard cell library modeling, validation, quality checking, performance, and reliability verification.
  • •Characterize libraries for timing, noise, power, and variation, and generate front-end and back-end models.
  • •Build, validate, release, and support standard cell libraries for Intel product teams and Intel Foundry customer design projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, VLSI, Microelectronics, or a closely related electrical field.
  • •Knowledge of digital circuit design, including CMOS combinational logic and sequential element design and layout.
  • •Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools across areas such as circuit simulation, cell characterization, logic synthesis, place-and-route, physical design verification, and reliability verification.
  • •Scripting experience for design automation using one or more of: TCL, Perl, Python, csh (or similar).
  • •Knowledge of Linux environments and common Linux-based development tools.
