Key Responsibilities

  • •Reinforce didactic content and teach nursing knowledge and skills in the context of clinical and lab application for pre-licensure nursing.
  • •Collaborate with content area faculty to provide expert evaluation and document student progress toward clinical and lab objectives.
  • •Grade written work and clinical/lab performance check-offs.
  • •Maintain communication with program faculty and director, including attendance in select faculty meetings.
  • •Remain current with trends in nursing practice, maintain program accreditation compliance, and uphold the university’s nursing and mission commitments, including supporting clinical rotations and observing students at clinical sites.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • •Unencumbered Florida RN license.
  • •Minimum of 2 years of work experience in medical/surgical, long term care, and/or skilled nursing.
