Key Responsibilities

  • •Support geological and geotechnical investigations in the field, including logging drill cores, geological mapping, and data collection.
  • •Contribute to rock mass characterization and interpret laboratory test results to support engineering analyses.
  • •Participate in rock mechanics assessments, slope stability analyses, and support system design studies.
  • •Prepare technical reports, figures, drawings, and data summaries for project deliverables.
  • •Use specialized software (Rocscience and Leapfrog) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on mining, tunnel, and infrastructure projects.

Salary: CAD 66,300 - 97,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in geological engineering, geology, geotechnical engineering, or a related field.
  • •Academic or project experience in rock mechanics, structural geology, geomechanics, or rock mass characterization.
  • •Knowledge of geotechnical investigation methods and geological data collection techniques.
  • •Experience or familiarity with geotechnical/geological software, including Rocscience and/or Leapfrog.
  • •Ability and willingness to travel for fieldwork when required, and a valid driver’s license.
