Job Summary

Work with the Production Lead in a precast concrete environment to produce finished pieces. Responsibilities include mold prep and demolding, mixing and batching materials, applying texture and sealer, operating sprayers and pump equipment, and sanding/finishing parts. You will also transport molds and parts through the production stages, maintain shop tools and equipment, and support shop operations and cross-training for sample fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform mold prep and demolding.
•Mix and set up materials; apply texture coats; operate sprayers/pump equipment and fill molds.
•Sand and finish demolded parts; apply sealer to finished pieces.
•Safely transport molds and parts through production stages into finished goods inventory.
•Clean and maintain shop, tools, and equipment; manage shop activities in the absence of the production lead and assist with sample-fulfillment cross-training.

Key Requirements

•Capable of learning concrete science and casting/curing processes to achieve quality and performance.
•High school diploma or GED.
•Skilled with power tools (air powered and electrical).
•Excellent mechanical aptitude.
•Ability to operate a forklift and lift/maneuver heavy objects up to 125 lb.
