Mgr, Buyer (M3)

Lead purchasing activities by directing buyers and expediters to meet company objectives. Evaluate vendor reliability, oversee vendor relationships, and review/approve purchases up to defined limits. Develop procurement policies and procedures, monitor major subcontract cost, schedule, and performance, and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to maintain planned inventory levels. The role also requires applying Applied Materials’ Standards of Business Conduct and ethical conduct at all times.
