Key Responsibilities

  • •Code, test, and maintain wealth investment restrictions for HSBC Wealth Models on Bloomberg AIM (or comparable OMS), ensuring accuracy and consistency under GTOM.
  • •Perform pre-trade and end-of-day monitoring of restrictions, investigate exceptions, and support timely resolution within agreed timescales.
  • •Produce and enhance management information (MI) to support Risk, Compliance, Investments, Product, and Operations, improving straight-through processing (STP).
  • •Build and maintain a best-practice library for restrictions coding, testing, and monitoring to uplift capability across the function.
  • •Partner with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Product, Risk, Compliance, and IT to define expectations, quality measures, and process improvements, and support change-driven project work.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant hands-on experience managing investment restrictions, including guidelines interpretation, rule translation, coding/testing, and monitoring.
  • •Solid risk management expertise.
  • •Strong analytical capability with advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (Access/PowerPoint/Visio beneficial).
  • •Experience with Bloomberg or comparable Order Management Systems (OMS) (desirable).
  • •Fluency in French (desirable), with strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
