Serve as a subject-matter expert for DoD personal property transportation guidance for service members at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Provide entitlements and procedural counseling, coordinate with military base transportation offices and third-party carriers, and resolve escalated disputes. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and maintain accurate documentation while staying current on DoD transportation policy changes and supporting process improvements across customer service, logistics, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide DoD transportation regulations, entitlements, and procedure guidance to service members as a subject-matter expert.
•Coordinate with military bases, transportation offices, and third-party carriers to ensure timely transportation execution.
•Address escalated transportation issues and resolve conflicts and disputes professionally and diplomatically.
•Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies for transportation counseling while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
•Collaborate with customer service, logistics, and quality assurance; stay current on DoD policy changes and communicate updates.

Key Requirements

•Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent legal resident with oral and written fluency in English.
•Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license.

•Experience in transportation counseling or a related field, with previous supervisory experience.
