Key Responsibilities

  • •Exercise safe driving practices to transport live poultry or poultry feed in a safe and secure manner.
  • •Comply with DOT safety rules and regulations, company policies, and local, state, and federal laws.
  • •Perform and document pre-trip inspections and ensure secure load before movement.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading the trailer as necessary.
  • •Maintain proper documentation, clean and wash the truck as needed, and report maintenance issues to a supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 21 years of age.
  • •Valid Class A CDL with a 1-year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
  • •Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT), State, and Federal laws.
  • •Ability to read and write legibly.
  • •Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate with sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
