Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with a cross-functional team to deliver AI-powered products that change how associates work and how customers interact.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, agents/multi-agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, governance, and observability.
  • •Optimize foundation model performance (scalability, cost, latency, throughput) for large-scale production AI systems and define the technical vision/roadmap.
  • •Own end-to-end architecture for complex AI systems, ensuring maintainability, observability, and ethical alignment.
  • •Define AI reliability service-level objectives (latency, uptime, performance drift) and lead technical reviews with security, data governance, and compliance requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 197,300 - 225,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/AI/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or related field plus 4+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies; or a Master’s plus 2+ years.
  • •4+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Experience leading development of AI systems with tradeoff decisions around cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
  • •6+ years deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • •Experience designing, developing, delivering, and supporting AI services (including LLM inference, similarity search, and vector database approaches).
