Job Summary

Lead cross-functional technical programs for Akamai’s Cloud Technology Group Product Program Management team. Own planning, detailed engineering execution, risk and dependency management, and ongoing support of product lines and roadmaps. Communicate status to technical and executive stakeholders, resolve issues, manage backlog and roadmap changes, and drive consensus using agile ways of working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Aha.

•Lead cross-functional program teams through formulation and execution of program plans and strategies, including engineering planning, risk assessment, and technical dependency management.
•Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks across integration points, architecture dependencies, and resource constraints impacting timelines or outcomes.
•Communicate program and project status to technical teams and executive stakeholders.
•Collaboratively design solutions with stakeholders, embracing agility and maintaining roadmap clarity.
•Support product and engineering teams by managing backlogs, resolving issues, and managing roadmap changes.

Salary: USD 119,600 - 215,400 annually

Key Requirements

•8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree (or equivalent).
•Experience as a Technical Project/Program Manager or Transformation Leader with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

•Comfort navigating ambiguity, handling risks, and shifting priorities as needed.
•Ability to inspire people at all levels without formal authority and to communicate effectively across stakeholders.
