Key Responsibilities

  • •Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for tax—from foundational tax infrastructure to calculation, reporting, and filing experiences.
  • •Build tax automation across Ramp products for domestic and international customers.
  • •Expand Stack into the tax domain by automating CPA workflows such as data collection, workpaper prep, review, filing, and client follow-up.
  • •Partner with engineering and data science to ship production-reliable AI systems with evaluation methods, quality metrics, feedback loops, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • •Translate complex tax rules into scalable product, data, and platform capabilities and drive cross-functional launch readiness across stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in a technical or analytical field.
  • •Minimum 5 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience.
  • •Strong domain expertise in tax, accounting, or finance, including how businesses or accounting firms calculate, review, report, and file taxes.
  • •AI fluency with hands-on experience building AI features/prototypes, and understanding evaluation, retrieval, latency, cost, safety, and accuracy tradeoffs.
  • •Comfort collaborating in technical environments (e.g., Figma, Git) and using prototyping tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
