•Serve as lead fire protection engineer for designs on a variety of building project types, including mid-to large size architecture and facility projects.
•Organize workload and work independently on project-specific design tasks and lead staff and client communications.
•Communicate and present with clients and discuss/explain technical solutions to project conditions.
•Coordinate staff interactions with Architect of Record and Project Manager; participate in project meetings.
•Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida (FL PE)
•Experience leading engagement and interface with client teams
•Experience using relevant software required in design, calculation, and execution of project designs
•Experience preparing calculations and design documents (reports, plans, specifications)
