Job Summary

Design and develop next-generation RFICs for Starlink’s space and ground infrastructure. You’ll derive subsystem and circuit specifications, build analog/mixed-signal RF/microwave designs using SiGe or CMOS, and perform floorplanning, modeling, and prototype characterization. Collaborate across systems, modem/DSP, firmware, architecture, and ASIC teams to partition hardware/software, evaluate radio performance, and support automated test and production qualification.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, simulate, and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems.
•Derive specifications for RFIC subsystems and circuits.
•Develop analog/mixed-signal RF/microwave circuits in SiGe or CMOS processes.
•Work with system architects, modem/DSP and ASIC engineers to partition functions between hardware and software domains.
•Perform IC floor planning and layout; model package/external parasitics; evaluate and characterize prototypes and radio performance; support automated test lab equipment and production testing/qualification.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
•5+ years of RF integrated circuit experience.
•Experience using RF/mixed-signal simulation tools such as Spectre, ADS, HFSS, or Momentum.
•Circuit design experience including analysis and simulation of linear and non-linear circuits (e.g., PLLs, oscillators, mixers, filters, low noise and power amplifiers).
•Knowledge of RF transceiver architectures and RF/microwave design experience in the Ku-band, K-band, and Ka-band frequency ranges.
