Key Responsibilities

  • •Install mechanical setups and support setup/installation of test rigs to complete accurate product/system testing.
  • •Execute hydraulic product testing (pumps, valves, hose assemblies, couplings) and complete test requests within acceptable timeframes.
  • •Design and build test circuits and configure/update test stands for new test requirements or standards.
  • •Standardize laboratory test procedures and ensure adherence to ISO 17025 and AS9100, including SOP creation for individual test stands.
  • •Lead troubleshooting and provide recommendations to the product team based on test results, while applying Lean/DMAIC for productivity improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Automotive engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in hydraulic/pneumatic systems and equipment development lifecycle.
  • •Sound experience leading design and development of new hydraulics/electromechanical equipment and performing assembly/tear down of hydraulic systems.
  • •Experience troubleshooting test rigs and conducting test setups for hydraulic products (e.g., pumps, valves, hose assemblies, couplings) using standards such as AS/DO-160 or customer-specified standards.
  • •Understanding data acquisition systems, sensors, and DAQ/control software (e.g., LabVIEW/Diadem) plus experience in safety and quality practices (ISO compliance).
