Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the daily operations of the EMI to ensure processes run smoothly, and implement operational strategies supporting growth and scalability.
  • •Ensure compliance with EMI/PSR requirements via robust internal controls, and collaborate with compliance to prepare for regulatory audits and accurate reporting.
  • •Identify, assess, and manage operational risks; oversee crisis and incident management plans to maintain business continuity.
  • •Provide outsourcing oversight, including regulatory queries and monitoring outsourced service providers against service levels and risk indicators.
  • •Oversee fraud operations, technology infrastructure and security, and customer experience activities including feedback handling and dispute resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Eligible to work in Ireland or willing to relocate to Ireland.
  • •15+ years of operational leadership experience, preferably in financial services or crypto-asset industry.
  • •Strong understanding of EMI, PSRs, and wider European regulatory frameworks.
  • •Strong leadership, strategic thinking, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
