Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise, train, and monitor assigned claims adjusters and other claims personnel; assist claims leadership in overseeing and handling claims.
  • •Lead and develop a growing team of field property adjusters.
  • •Manage overall operations for a designated area, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance assessments, and employee development.
  • •Review claims regularly for coverage and adequate reserves; counsel on further actions and resolve coverage and other unusual questions.
  • •Handle claim complaints and inquiries, coordinate legal paperwork processing and outside counsel as required, and assist with trial procedures as necessary.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent with six years of claims-related experience; or associate degree with four years; or bachelor’s degree with two years.
  • •Experience using estimating software (preferred).
  • •Experience in a leadership role (preferred).
  • •Completion of Associate in Claims (AIC) designation (preferred).
  • •Appropriate state-required license(s) and a valid driver’s license required, with ability to secure and maintain dual or multiple licenses.
