Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage heavy-duty steel supplier selection, contracting, and performance for the Minerals & Mining division.
  • •Lead heavy-duty steel supplier selection, RFQ, and contracting with input from the project team.
  • •Monitor and manage supplier performance on product quality, cost, and schedule integrity, taking timely actions on issues.
  • •Coordinate procurement within project planning (PPP), including meetings with project stakeholders and follow-up on internal time schedules and procurement progress.
  • •Ensure RFQ deliverables are comparable and project-compliant; negotiate and finalize subcontract agreements (or support if buying is handled by others).

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business; engineering preferred).
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of procurement and contract experience with heavy-duty steel suppliers in a project environment.
  • •Commercial background and technical business overview, including hands-on experience working with heavy-duty steel suppliers.
  • •Knowledge of overall project management methods in a project environment.
  • •Advanced practitioner of MS Office and BGMS (BEUMER Group Management System).
