Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers for platform and new product development.
  • •Aggregate demand for Starlink hardware to provide an accurate demand signal supporting rate enablement.
  • •Run the RFX process (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs), evaluate results, and use them to implement sourcing decisions.
  • •Manage costs to ensure adherence to project budgets and forecasts, including developing should-cost models.
  • •Ensure suppliers are prepared for prototype builds and support ramp to mass production; drive process improvements and manage supplier performance analytics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations, or supply chain management; or 9+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience in material cost control and master production scheduling, including technical procurement or planning experience with PCB, PCBA, or electrical components.
  • •Experience with printed circuit board and/or substrate fabrication.
  • •Experience with PCBA, contract manufacturing, electronic component packaging, and/or managing a technical supply chain.
  • •Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI, with effective written and verbal communication to all levels.
