Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Account Executives for technical discovery, building bespoke architectures, and delivering product demos and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
  • •Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout onboarding, maturity, renewal, and expansion for key stakeholders.
  • •Align long-term technical relationship with customers’ evolving business goals and Cloudflare product roadmap.
  • •Drive commercial outcomes by carrying a variable quota, leading QBRs, and identifying cross-sell/up-sell opportunities based on usage data.
  • •Use AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine tasks (e.g., RFP/security questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, telemetry monitoring).

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
  • •Broad technical expertise across web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
  • •Track record operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment with strong understanding of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
  • •Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, bridging deep technical details to C-suite business strategy.
  • •Ability to provide technical guidance and drive customer adoption through the full customer lifecycle.
